Have you ever applied for a job, either sent your CV by post or emailed it, then waited weeks without receiving any reply. In this instance they don't even have the courtesy to tell you that you haven't got the job. Do you feel cheated after you have given them your personal information in a CV or an application form, just to hear nothing. Is this a common occurrence?

but then, perhaps they get so many applications that they are unable to answer every single one of them... Although I do understand how annoying that can be (especially after listening to famous "We'll call you" line

Yeah that have happened to me every often. I don't know why companys do like that. Maybe it's easier for them. When I was working at the Labour force office I heard that this happens to many people here in Finland, unfortunately.
